Sterlization

At our clinic, we follow a strict sterilization protocol, as detailed below:

All the instruments are routinely washed, chemically disinfected & then sterilized in an Autoclave which includes keeping the instruments exposed to steam under pressure of 15 pounds at 121 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.

Our clinic stringently follows safety and sterilization guidelines. We continuously upgrade infection control techniques by frequently holding regular staff meetings. Some of the techniques we follow are:

1. Wearing gloves, masks, and protective eyewear during each patient examination and treatment.

2. Sterilizing all instruments placed intra – orally in an autoclave and ultrasonic cleaning.

3. Consistently using a contracted sterilization monitoring service to ensure effectiveness of the sterilization.

4 Sterilization of all dental hand-pieces.

5. Supplying filtered, bottled water to dental hand-pieces and air / water syringe.

6. Utilizing safety techniques to prevent cross-contamination by properly disposing off all product that cannot be sterilized.
